Smooth & flavorful, El Silencio Ensamble is an exquisite sipping mezcal. This Super Premium spirit is a blend of three different types of agave - Espadín, Tobasiche & Mexicano - which slowly reveal the layers that each provide.

Lightly Charred Agave, with Touches of White Pepper, Minerals and Chile.

- 1 oz. Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth
- 1 oz. Campari

P R O C E S O

1. AGAVE PLANT

Tended for seven to nine years until it reaches maturity and ideal sugar content.

2. HARVESTING

Agave leaves are shaved, revealing the coveted agave heart (piña) and taken to the distillery (palenque).

3. UNDERGROUND ROAST

Piñas are roasted for approximately 4 days in a pit with mesquite and encino wood over large volcanic rocks bestowing mezcal’s signature smoky flavor.

4. TAHONA WHEEL

Smoked piñas are crushed with a tahona (big stone wheel).

5. FERMENTATION VATS

Crushed piñas (bagaso) are placed in open air fermentation vats and monitored by El Silencio’s Master Distiller for approximately eight days.

6. COPPER STILL DISTILLATION

El Silencio is distilled twice in copper stills.
